Setup and troubleshooting

GoGhost uses a small Windows or Mac connector so the browser dashboard can talk to your iPhone cleanly. Most setup issues come down to one of these three steps.

1. Install laptop connector

Download the Windows Beta or Mac connector from the dashboard. On Windows, install Apple Devices or iTunes first; Windows may show an unrecognized app warning during beta.

2. Trust the computer

Unlock your iPhone after plugging in. If the Trust prompt does not appear, try a different cable or USB port and reconnect.

3. Enable Developer Mode

On your iPhone, go to Settings, Privacy & Security, Developer Mode. Restart when asked, unlock, and confirm.
